Who is responsible

mySoggiorno is a service of Expat Support LLC, a New York limited liability company, which is the controller of the personal data described here. Contact: ciao@mysoggiorno.com.

What we collect

When you book a readiness assessment we collect your first and last name, email address, phone number, your timezone, and any notes you choose to leave. When you use the calculator or request the checklist we collect your email address and the figures you enter. Clients who use the client area upload the documents their visa requires (identity, financial and civil-status records) and exchange messages with our team. Our website also collects standard analytics data (pages viewed, approximate location, device type) through Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, and records how you found us (for example, a search ad or referral link).

How we use it

We use your contact details to schedule and hold your consultation, to send you appointment confirmations, reminders, and changes by email and SMS, to verify your phone number, and to respond when you contact us. We use analytics to understand how the site is used and to improve it.

SMS program

SMS messages are sent only if you check the optional SMS opt-in box in the booking form. If you opt in, you consent to receive appointment-related text messages from mySoggiorno: confirmations, reminders, reschedule or cancellation notices, replies to your questions, and one-time verification codes. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time and HELP for help. Consent is optional and not a condition of booking or purchase; if you do not opt in, all appointment communication arrives by email.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Sharing

We share data only with the service providers that run this site and our communications: hosting (Vercel, United States) and database and file storage (Supabase, hosted in the European Union), Google Workspace for email, calendar and video calls, our telephony providers for SMS, and the analytics providers named above. Our legal team in Italy sees the documents needed to prepare your application. We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies

Analytics cookies load only after you accept the cookie notice if you are visiting from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland; elsewhere they load by default. You can decline in the banner.

Retention and your rights

We keep booking and contact records for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by writing to james@mysoggiorno.com.
